Day 116 - 4/26/11 - Mommy time

Eli is starting to use his eyes more to follow things and focus in on something. Here he is looking at his mommy. I can tell he thinks she's beautiful.

Day 115 - 4/25/11 - Got my hairs cut

I finally did it. It's starting to get really hot so I decided it was time to cut off all the long curls and go with the short summer hair. Here's me right after I buzzed my own hair.

Day 114 - 4/24/11 - Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone. Here's a picture from our easter service at Chestnut Ridge Church. This is my good friend Adam leading us in worship!

Day 113 - 4/23/11 - He's getting bigger

Awesome hair!

Day 112 - 4/22/11 - Exploring

I took a side road today that I've never been on to the West of Morgantown. Sometimes I just like to see where roads will take me. Just before the road turned to dirt and I turned around, I saw this scene and took a shot. I like how everything is turning back to green from the ugly winter brown.

Day 111 - 4/21/11 - Falling Water

We took Eli for his first walk around the neighborhood that he's going to be growing up in. Here's a pic of Ashley, Eli, and Zoie. We had a good time.

Day 110 - 4/20/11 - Deckers Creek Rapids

Just east of Morgantown, where Deckers creek descends from Chestnut Ridge, there's a beautiful place with multiple rapids. I'm planning on doing a time lapse here soon so went to scout out a location today.

Day 109 - 4/19/11 - New Life

Here's another picture from last spring, but again, I promise this is what it's looking like now. haha.

Day 108 - 4/18/11 - Springtime in Morgantown

I didn't take this picture this year, I have to admit. This was taken one year ago, but I promise, this is what Ruby McQuain Park Looks like right now. I just didn't get a chance to go get any pictures. This being a Dad thing is very time consuming. haha.

Day 107 - 4/17/11 - Catch up time

OK, so I honestly thought that I would really be able to keep up with this blog, especially when I have Eli now to take pictures of. However, I didn't expect that I would be so busy that I wouldn't have time to pick up my camera. So I'm sorry to say I have not been keeping up with my photo per day quota. But I'm sure you guys can cut me some slack. So to catch up, I have uploaded a cool panoramic picture I took/created from the Sunday after Eli was born. We were still staying in the hospital so our Church community group decided to come visit us instead of have our normal Sunday night get-together. It was great!

Day 106 - 4/16/11 - Mammaw and Eli!

We had an open house to come over and meet our new boy, Elijah. Here's a picture with Mammaw Net.

Day 105 - 4/15/11 - Finally Finished

Two weeks after Eli arrived, we have finally finished hanging thing on the wall of his nursery. Hopefully he'll enjoy it all one day.

Day 104 - 4/14/11 - Coopers Rock

I decided I had to get away from the office for lunch today, so I drove up to Coopers Rock to enjoy the scenery before I picked up lunch and took it back to the office. It was a very nice sunny day.

Day 103 - 4/13/11 - Zoie is concerned

I again, failed to get a picture today. So here's one of Zoie looking over at Eli with a very concerned look. She's doing pretty well with the new addition.

Day 102 - 4/12/11 - Another missed day

Another busy day, another missed photo for the day. So Here's another one from our photo shoot Sunday.

Day 101 - 4/11/11 - Busy

OK. So...its been kind of busy since Eli was born and I am struggling to keep getting a picture each day. I didn't take one today so I'll go ahead and give you another one from our photo shoot yesterday. Enjoy!

Day 100 - 4/10/11 - First Photo Shoot

Eli had his first "semi-professional" photo shoot today. It got up to 85 degrees here in Morgantown so I figured it would be safe set up my black backdrop on the back porch to get some cool pictures of my boy in the buff. In this picture, I believe he is a mountaineer fan.

Day 99 - 4/9/11 - Uncle Justin and Aunt Alana

Justin and Alana came over for a visit today to see the little guy. I think Eli enjoyed their visit.

Day 98 - 4/8/11 - Ziggy's Takover

Ziggy thought that he needed to try out Eli's little rocker. I think he just wanted to make sure it was safe before we put Eli in it. What a selfless loyal "big brother" dog. haha.

Day 97 - 4/7/11 - Me and My Boy

OK. So I didn't take this picture, but I wanted to post it anyway. Just me and my boy enjoying an evening in the "boss chair".

Day 96 - 4/6/11 - Jude

I'll give you a break today from all the pictures of Eli. So here's a picture of Eli's cousin, Jude, who was visiting with his mom and sister. I was playing with a somewhat slower shutter speed to get a motion blur effect. I kind of like this one where he was moving, but his face is the only thing in focus. He's a pretty cool dude too.

Day 95 - 4/5/11 - Mohawk.

I'm not sure if you can see it here, but I gave him a sweet mohawk just before I got him dressed (which he promptly threw up all over). He's a pretty cool little dude.

Day 94 - 4/4/11 - Home

Eli finally got to come home today. Mommy and baby were getting settled into a seat that will be used a lot in the future. I think he liked his new room. At least it has more room than his old dwelling in Ashley's womb. ha. Zoie is very nervous about the whole situation and was keeping her eye on everything.

Day 93 - 4/3/11 - Mommy and Elijah time

Ashley read Elijah his first book while we were there in the hospital. By the looks of it, he really wasn't all that interested. But it was a great moment!

Day 92 - 4/2/11 - Grandparents

Mom and Dad drove up from Beckley once they heard that Ashley was in labor. They were there to help welcome Elijah into the world.

Day 91 - 4/1/11 - Well, It finally Happened.

Well I made it 90 days without missing a picture for a day. Unfortunately I have to report that I did not take a picture on Friday, April 1. But I'm going to give myself a pass because the reason I didn't take a pictures was because I was at the hospital with Ashley getting ready to meet our son. I didn't take any pictures until the delivery was over, which was at 2:28am April 2. I now announce to the world (through this picture) Elijah Lucas Griffith.
